Launched in 2021 by Villa Albertine – The French Embassy in the US and Albertine Foundation, this free program is specifically open to French teachers in public schools, accredited networks, Alliances Françaises, and FLAM (French as a Mother Language) programs. It offers a selection of French-language films suitable for various age groups, from elementary to high school, available online with comprehensive educational resources.

Educational Resources
Teachers have access to workbooks for themselves and their students, allowing them to study the films in class before watching them. After the screenings, activities will take place on the digital platform Padlet, providing students with the opportunity to express their opinions about the films and practice their French in an engaging way. Additionally, comprehension activities are available on the Genially platform, with self-correcting quizzes that help students verify and deepen their understanding of the films. The use of these fun and interactive digital tools facilitates a flexible and enriching learning experience.

An Immersive Experience
CinéSchool offers teachers a unique opportunity to enhance French language learning while allowing students to discover French-language films and cultures. The screenings take place online, enabling students to watch the films at home, at their own pace. By providing wide access to films and online activities, CinéSchool offers an innovative and immersive approach.
