Once again, the Newport Beach Film Festival, which takes place October 13-20, 2022, is hosting a French Spotlight on Tuesday, October 18th with a special screening of “The Worst Ones” by Lise Akoka and Romane Gueret.
During the casting for a film to be shot at the cité Picasso, in the suburbs of Boulogne-Sur-Mer, in the north of France, four teenagers, Lily, Ryan, Maylis and Jessy are chosen to play in the film. Everyone in the neighborhood is surprised: why only take the “worst ones”?
