Showcasing the best films from across the globe, the 36th edition of AFI FEST, the longest running international film festival in Los Angeles, will take place in person from Nov. 2-6, 2022, at the TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood.
With a diverse and innovative slate of programming, the festival presents a robust lineup of fiction and nonfiction features and shorts presented in established AFI FEST sections, along with panels and conversations featuring both master filmmakers and new cinematic voices.
Discover the exciting French films and co-productions featured at AFI FEST this year including: SAINT OMER, followed by a conversation with director Alice Diop; ONE FINE MORNING, followed by a conversation with director Mia Hansen-Løve and actor Léa Seydoux; THE SON by Florian Zeller; REWIND & PLAY by Alain Gomis, preceded by a special introduction from historian Robin D. G. Kelley, author of Thelonious Monk: The Life and Times of an American Original; SMOKING CAUSES COUGHING by Quentin Dupieux; and THE FIVE DEVILS by Léa Mysius.
