Flute and Piano Concert with Jean Ferrandis at the Embassy of France

After hearing Jean Ferrandis perform the Adagio from Mozart’s D Major Concerto, Leonard Bernstein exclaimed « it ‘s Pan himself! » and subsequently composed a cadenza for him. Mr Ferrandis enjoys an international career that takes him throughout Europe, Asia and North America. He has appeared as soloist in such prestigious concert hall, as Carnegie Hall, Alice Tully Hall in New York, Théâtre des Champs Elysées in Paris, La Fenice in Venice, Hamarikyu Hall in Tokyo, Tchaikovsky Conservatory Hall in Moscow in Moscow, etc…
 

Pianist Hui-Chuan Chen leads a diverse career as a concert pianist, chamber musician, and educator. She has performed widely throughout the United States, Europe, and Asia, and has appeared in major performance venues, including Carnegie Hall (Weill Recital Hall), The Kennedy Center Concert Hall, and The Supreme Court of the United States of America. She has featured at the Aspen Music Festival (Aspen, CO), The National Gallery of Art and The Phillips Collection in Washington DC, the Barge Music Festival in New York City.
