Special Screening of The Confession by Costa-Gavras
The Confession, directed by the master of the genre Costa-Gavras, tells the harrowing true story of the Czechoslovak communist and deputy foreign minister Artur London, a defendant in the famous Slánský purge trial in the early 1950s
The event is organized and supported by: Wende Museum, ELMA foundation, The Consulate General of the Czech Republic in Los Angeles, Consulate General of Greece in Los Angeles, Consulat Général de France à Los Angeles, Italian Cultural Institute of Los Angeles and the Villa Albertine.
The screening will be preceded by a reception in the museum garden starting at 4 p.m.
