Created in 2024 with the help of Paradiso Media, this booklet is intended as a practical tool to help all industry professionals gain a better understanding of podcasting practices in the United States. A comprehensive overview of best practices, it is available free of charge and includes tips on how to develop your pitch and community; monetize your podcast; negotiate a contract with a broadcaster; and understand financing opportunities.
This guide was produced following three editions of Sounds of New York, a professional program for podcast creators developed by Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation with the support of Spotify, Radio France, RFI (France Médias Monde), SACD, Institut français, INA, Ausha, and Paradiso Media.
