Living with our Dead is an invitation to accept loss and vulnerability as essential and enriching parts of life. In this profoundly humanist and moving book, Delphine Horvilleur celebrates life, recounting eleven stories of loss, mourning and consolation, collected during the years she has spent caring for the dying and their loved ones. Horvilleur writes both about public figures and ordinary people, rejecting the contemporary tendency to banish death from our lives.
Living with our Dead: on Loss and Consolation will be released in the United States in May 2024.
Delphine Horvilleur will be on tour in the US in early May, 2024.
