Apply Now: The Sixth Edition of the CPGA–Villa Albertine Prize at Art Basel Miami Beach 2026

Villa Albertine and the Comité Professionnel des Galeries d’Art (CPGA) are pleased to launch the 6th edition of the CPGA–Villa Albertine Prize, which will be awarded on Thursday, December 3, 2026, during Art Basel Miami Beach.

The prize continues to champion French and France-based artists on the international stage, while recognizing the essential role of galleries in supporting contemporary artistic creation.

This prize recognizes a French or France-based living artist exhibiting at Art Basel Miami Beach, along with their representing gallery.

The CPGA–Villa Albertine Prize seeks to promote and spotlight French and France-based artists on the international stage by encouraging participating galleries to feature their work at the fair.

The winning artist and gallery will receive a total cash prize of $15,000, shared equally between them.

The selection panel will be composed of international curators and collectors, who will review the proposals and presentations during a visit to the galleries’ booths on Thursday, December 3, 2026.

How to Apply?

Application deadline: November 15, 2026

To have their artists considered, galleries are invited to submit their applications through the CPGA’s online application form.
Only works on view at the participating gallery’s booth during the fair will be eligible.

The jury may shortlist laureates depending on the number of applications received.

Only complete applications will be considered.

The CPGA-Villa Albertine Prize is organized by Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation with the exclusive sponsorship of the AXA Foundation for Human Progress, in partnership with the Institut français, Ministère de la Culture, Ministère des Affaires étrangères français, and ADAGP.
