A naive, pillow-lipped American student (Michael Pitt) encounters Eva Green and a mop-topped Louis Garrel, the children of an esteemed intellectual at odds with their father’s old school perspective. Escaping into a cinephile fantasy in the siblings’ Paris apartment for a little “ooh la la,” the trio sequester themselves from the reality of the streets and the ringing chants of May ’68 protesters.
