Sundance Unveils Its Lineup

Celebrate independent storytelling both in person and online at the 40th edition of the Sundance Film Festival, January 18 to 28, 2024.
The Sundance Film Festival, a program of the nonprofit, Sundance Institute, is the pre-eminent gathering of original storytellers and audiences seeking new voices and fresh perspectives. Since 1985, hundreds of films launched at the festival have gone on to gain critical acclaim and reach new audiences worldwide.
Among the French productions and co-productions featured in this year’s lineup: Àma Gloria by Marie Amachoukeli, which premiered as the opening night selection of the 2023 Semaine de la Critique at the Cannes Film Festival, animation short 27, by Flóra Anna Buda, which premiered at the 2023 Festival de Cannes where it won the Palme D’or for short films, A Brief History of Family by Jianjie Lin, Girls Will Be Girls by Shuchi Talati, In the Land of Brothers by Raha Amirfazli and Alireza Ghasemi.
