ROBOT DREAMS weekend at the American Cinematheque
DOG lives in Manhattan and he’s tired of being alone. One day he decides to build himself a robot, a companion. Their friendship blossoms, until they become inseparable, to the rhythm of 80’s NYC. One summer night, DOG, with great sadness, is forced to abandon ROBOT at the beach. Will they ever meet again?
The American Cinematheque will presents two free screenings of Robot Dreams followed by a Q+A with filmmaker Pablo Berger. Saturday, February 17th at Los Feliz 3 and Sunday, February 18th, at the Aero Theater.
Robot Dreams, a Franco-Spanish co-production, has been nominated for Best Animated Feature Film at the 96th Academy Awards and for 5 Annie Awards including Best Independent Feature.
