PALM SPRINGS CINEMA FRANCAIS 2024 – a weekend of French-language films and culture

This weekend festival opens with Jean-Jacques Annaud’s Notre-Dame on Fire, followed by Take a Chance on Me by Jean-Pierre Ameris, Last Dance by Delphine Lehericey, Green Tide by Pierre Jolivet, Marguerite’s Theorem by Anna Novion, Young French Cinema 2024 selection Ama Gloria by Marie Amachoukeli-Barsacq, All Your Faces by Jeanne Herry as well as a marvelous and diverse selection of shorts.

The festival is curated by Beth Ellen Fromm, Executive Director of the Desert Film Society, with the Palm Springs Cultural Center as the presenting sponsor. All films will screen with English subtitles at the Palm Springs Cultural Center’s Historic Camelot Theatre.
