This year, Villa Albertine’s signature French film festival, Films on the Green, presents a curated selection of films exploring fashion in cinema, with outdoor screenings in New York, Los Angeles, Houston, Chicago, and Washington, D.C.

Dedicated to the theme Fashion in Film, this year’s edition of Films on the Green invites you to discover the glamour of French style across five cities. From the vibrant 1960s flair of Jacques Demy’s The Young Girls of Rochefort in New York City, to Marion Cotillard’s unforgettable performance as Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose in Chicago, each screening highlights iconic moments where cinema and couture collide. In Houston, experience The Animal Kingdom, winner of the César Award for Best Costume Design, followed by a stunning finale in Washington, D.C. with Jean Paul Gaultier’s visionary futuristic costumes in The Fifth Element.

Celebrate French cinema and style under the stars. Films on the Green is coming to a city near you! Stay tuned for the full lineup of events across the US.
