The Embassy of France and Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education is once again participating in the EU Open House much-loved spring event with the European Union’s Delegation in the United States.
On Saturday, May 10th, from 10 AM to 4 PM, the German Embassy welcomes the French Embassy for the 2025 EU Open House. It is the day the European Union and its Member State embassies across Washington, D.C. open their doors to the public for a day of culture, food, music, and more. EU Open House always falls on the first Saturday after Europe Day (May 9), which marks the signing of the Schuman Declaration in 1950 that established the European Coal and Steel Community, which would eventually become the European Union as we know it.
