The Women Photographers International Archive (WOPHA) will be holding a congress at the Pérez Art Museum Miami from November 18 to 19 to celebrate the work of women photographers from around the world and address issues of feminism.

With the support of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and the participation of Villa Albertine, Women Photographers International Archive has invited several French scholars to the Pérez Art Museum Miami. Some invited scholars include Marie Robert, chief curator of photography at Musée d’Orsay, France, and photo historian Luce Lebart.

The program also includes a concert performance by French-Cuban duo Ibeyi and a slam poetry performance by Villa Albertine’s first Miami resident, Simone Lagrand.

About WOPHA: Women Photographers International Archive is a nonprofit founded by art curator, Aldeide Delgado and artist Francisco Maso to research, promote, support, and educate others on the role of female identifying and non-binary persons in photography.
