As part of The Twilight Worlds of Werner Herzog: A Retrospective, the American Cinematheque will screen French co-productions, including Cave of Forgotten Dreams. The screeing which will be in 3-D will include a Q&A with director, Werner Herzog, at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica on June 25th.

The screening which will be in 3-D will include a Q&A with director, Werner Herzog, at the Aero Theatre in Santa Monica on June 25th.  

Cave of Forgotten Dreams immerses the audience inside the Chauvet Cave in Southern France, where the earliest pictures created by mankind are found. With the use of 3-D technology and interviews with scientists, the film transports the audience back in time and provokes the viewers into thinking of the existence of mankind.
