The call for applications for Villa Albertine’s second season of residencies will be open from November 22, 2022 until February 1st, 2023! If you wish to know more, register for our webinar (in French) on November 28.

From January to December 2024, Villa Albertine will support one- to three-month long exploratory residencies across the United States. The call for applications is geared toward creators, researchers, and cultural professionals who are looking to conduct an original research project in the fields of arts and ideas that requires staying in the United States for a period of time. Unlike a traditional residency, the goal is not a final material product; rather, Villa Albertine’s exploratory residencies are intended to advance cultural exchange with both American society and creative ecosystems. The call is open to any candidate whose project is attached to a French partner and who can demonstrate proficiency in conversational English. The candidate may propose either a residency anchored in one city or a travelling residency in several stages throughout the United States.
