Miami FilmGate Interactive Media Festival is upcoming!
What is left of Reality by Pierre Zandrowicz and Ferdinand Dervieux
At the crossroads of visual storytelling, entertainment, and new immersive technology, this one-of-a-kind international festival event invites creatives and tech-savvy audiences to explore the best mind-bending stories through interactive and immersive storytelling.
Once again, FilmGate Interactive will present several French projects, beginning with dome experience 22.7 (Jan Kounen) at the Frost Art Museum’s planetarium, Mandala (Thomas Villepoux) and Missing Pictures (Clément Deneux) at the Downtown Media Center, Spring Odyssey (Elise Morin) and What is left of Reality (Pierre Zandrowicz, Ferdinand Dervieux) at the SouthEast Financial Center.
The presence of French talents is made possible in part with the support of the French Immersion grant, a program of the Cultural Services of the French Embassy and FACE Foundation, in partnership with UniFrance, the Institut Français, and the CNC. The grant brings French creators or producers to the US on the occasion of a screening or presentation of their work during a significant festival or program identified by the Cultural Services team.
Priscilla Delannay, co-founder and artistic director of the Nouveaux Regards Film Festival in Guadeloupe since 2017, has been invited to be part of the jury for the festival’s awards, thanks to the generous support of the France Florida Foundation for the Arts. On December 4 at 11.30 am, Camille Jeanjean, New Media Officer at Villa Albertine will present “Immersive Space,” a new program by Villa Albertine developed in partnership with the Paris-based French Institute dedicated to the distribution of immersive experiences.
