An innerspace VR experience directed by Hayoun Kwon
Stardust is a multiplayer installation in MR and VR for 4 users in a minimum space of 4X4m. The experience is based on the virtual reconstruction of one of the two oldest Asian stellar maps, dating back to 1395 and found in Korea. Like archaeologists uncovering star patterns from a rough stone, four users will interact with the map representation in a sandbox mode, bringing the constellations and their symbolic meanings to life, gradually reconstituting the celestial vault and zodiac figures. Beginning in mixed reality, the project will evolve into virtual reality as the vault unfolds around the users. the solidarity and friendship between the French troops and Korean soldiers.
The Directors
Renowned Korean artist Hayoun Kwon studied at Le Fresnoy – Studio national des arts contemporains in France, before co-founding Innerspace VR, one of the very first virtual reality studios. Since 2014, she has been exploring the delicate balance between storytelling and interactivity, working across a wide range of genres, all of which have received both critical and public acclaim.
