Villa Albertine is pleased to welcome a delegation from the Cité Internationale de la Langue Française to Louisiana this month.

The delegation will feature Paul Rondin, Director of the Cité; Agathe Robert, Head of Production and Programming; and Jean Souvignet, Educational Affairs Officer.

The Cité internationale de la Langue Française is a cultural center dedicated to the promotion and celebration of the French language and Francophone cultures. Located at the Château de Villers-Cotterêts, the institution was inaugurated on November 1, 2023, at the initiative of President Emmanuel Macron. The Cité is a place of training, learning, and creation around the French language, with an exhibition trail tracing its history and evolution. It aspires to become a global reference for the promotion of the French language and French-speaking cultures.

The delegation’s stay, scheduled from March 22 to 26, 2025, is intended to forge ties with local partners in the hope of developing future projects. Louisiana, as a key territory in the promotion of the French language and culture worldwide, offers a valuable opportunity to create new collaborations.
