The submission deadlines for the Centre national du cinéma et de l’immage animée‘ immersive creation and video game commissions have been announced.
Fund For Video Game (FAJV)
The Video Game Fund supports creation in the video game sector. These selective grants are designed to support authors and creative companies in all phases of game development: writing, pre-production and production. All grants are cumulative and paid in the form of subsidies. The fund can also support professional events.
For 2024, the submission deadlines are :
- Monday, January 15, 2024
- Monday April 15, 2024
- Monday, July 1, 2024
- Monday, October 14, 2024
Fund for Immersive Creation (FACI)
The Immersive Creation Fund supports innovative audiovisual works based on an immersive creation approach. Immersive works are audiovisual creations that offer a dynamic viewing experience linked to the movement of the gaze and/or the activation of visual or sound content by the viewer, notably using virtual or augmented reality technologies or any other device enabling immersion.
For 2024, the submission deadlines are :
- Monday, January 8, 2024
- Monday, April 8, 2024
- Monday, July 8, 2024
- Monday, October 7, 2024
If you have never submitted an application to the commission, it is strongly recommended to contact the CNC beforehand, so that they can help you submit your application. And if you have already submitted an application, please remember to do so as soon as possible: these are deadlines, which must not be missed.

Created in 1946, the Centre national du cinéma et de l’image animée (CNC) is a public administrative organization, set up as a separate and financially independent entity which comes under the authority of the French ministry of culture and communication. Its principal missions are : support for the film, broadcast, video, video games, immersive productions and technical industries; promotion of film and television for distribution to all audiences and preservation and development of the film heritage.
