Villa Albertine is delighted to announce its Fall 2026 literary programming, celebrating French and Francophone literature.
Starting September 25, our New York headquarters will kick off the fall season with a two-day international literary festival bringing together authors, translators, critics, and publishers from France and the United States. Celebrating the power of stories to cross borders and shape our imagination, the festival will feature Leïla Slimani, Jhumpa Lahiri, John Scalzi, Kate Dramis, Paul Tremblay, and Matt Madden, alongside leading voices in literary translation, French and Francophone fiction, science fiction, fantasy, comics, romantasy, and horror.
Literary Fall also marks the return of our Authors on Tour program, bringing acclaimed French writers to literary festivals and venues across the country. Beginning with Leïla Slimani in September, Mathias Énard and Alain Damasio will tour in October, followed by Gaël Faye in November. Presenting their latest novels alongside renowned American authors and journalists, they will take part in conversations and events throughout the United States.
