Candid but ingenious, Bécassine leaves her native Brittany and her parents to live her life. On her way to Paris, she meets the Marchioness of Grand-Air, who hires her to look after her baby, Loulotte. At the castle, Bécassine blossoms. But the arrival of a strange puppeteer with less than laudable intentions causes trouble.

Part 1: Inspector Adamsberg worked with Franck Mathieu in the past on a complex case involving a serial killer. When Mathieu contacted him about a strange murder in Louviec, Brittany, Adamsberg didn’t hesitate to act. In the name of their friendship, he sets off with his team to help Mathieu.

Part 2: Adamsberg and Mathieu are sure a serial killer is on the loose. They need to identify his motive to catch him before he can do any more harm. The key to the enigma is closely linked to regional folklore. Lying on a dolmen, Adamsberg uses his imagination to find the solution.

Alice and Frédéric are working hard to investigate Simona’s case. The latter also has to deal with a very difficult family situation. Police Chief Alario is concerned about a public figure being involved in the investigation. But Alice stands her ground.

Part 1: Summer 1943. Hitler is determined to change the course of the war. The greatest tank battle in history begins in Kursk, on the Ukrainian border: despite the slaughter the Germans are unable to break though. Part 2: January 1944. On all fronts, the German army is no longer able to stop its inexorable retreat. The fleeing soldiers destroy evidence of their unspeakable crimes. The noose continues to tighten around the Fuhrer. Holed up in his Berlin bunker, he continues to lead his country to ruin.

Part 2: 1970-1986. The humorist Thierry Le Luron observes the spirit of the times and sings tunes made famous by others: Dalida, Julien Clerc, Charles Aznavour, Line Renaud… he performs them with the voice of the original artist but using his own, often damming, words inspired by the news of the moment.
