Villa Albertine is proud to support the compelling theatrical production, “Portrait of Ludmilla as Nina Simone”, a French language play, written and directed by David Lescot.
Halfway between a tribute concert and theatrical performance, French-Senegalese-Cameroonian singer Ludmilla Dabot explores the life and music of legendary jazz icon Nina Simone.
This captivating piece will be showcased in New Orleans on March 18 at 7:30pm at the Lupin Theater at Tulane University (150 Dixon Hall Annex), in partnership with Alliance Française of New Orleans and Tulane University’s Theater and Dance Department.
