On March 24, French DJ and producer Michaël Canitrot joins Matthieu Gauthier, co-founder of Monumental Tour and Savinien Caracostea, Co-Founder and Creative Director of MetaFondation Studio, to discuss engaging new generations through immersive experiences. Through his Monumental Tour, Canitrot transforms iconic sites, from the Notre-Dame Cathedral to Château de Chambord, with electronic music and light

About the Speakers

Michaël Canitrot and Monumental Tour

Michael Canitrot is a French DJ and producer known for his artistic vision blending electronic music, heritage, and digital art. In 2019, he created Monumental Tour, a unique concept that transforms iconic monuments into immersive stages where music, light, and architecture interact.

Through this project, he seeks to bridge electronic culture and heritage, giving historic sites a new artistic dimension while reconnecting audiences with these places.

An atypical figure in the electronic scene, he performs both in major international clubs and festivals as well as at exceptional monuments. His work has received several distinctions, including the Event of the Year award at the Heavent Awards (2023 and 2024) and a special prize from the Institut de France.

In 2026, he was named Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the french ministry of Culture. 

Matthieu Gauthier

Matthieu Gauthier is a show producer specializing in experiences that bring together brands, artists, and heritage. With a background in commercial strategy, marketing, and sponsorship at major groups such as Fimalac Entertainment, JCDecaux, and TF1, he has developed strong expertise in building strategic partnerships between the corporate world and artistic creation.

In 2019, he co-founded the Monumental Tour with Michaël Canitrot, a concept combining electronic music, heritage sites, and light. In 2024, he also co-founded CELESTE, a company producing immersive indoor shows in places of worship, with a first creation at the Temple Neuf in Metz.

Through these projects, Matthieu develops collaborations between artists, institutions, and brands, creating cultural experiences that highlight both artistic creativity and the influence of places and partners.

Savinien Caracostea

Savinien Caracostea is a kaleidoscopic creative, working at the intersection of design, culture, and technology. He brings his expertise in graphic, spatial, editorial, and culinary design to imagine, generate, and activate the commercial and leisure spaces of tomorrow. In addition to consulting international brands on creative strategy and innovation, he publishes the Journal of Dreams and directs a think tank exploring the future of hospitality.
