EU OPEN HOUSE – Villa Albertine at the German Embassy

The Embassy of France and Villa Albertine, the French Institute for Culture and Education, is once again participating in the EU Open House, the much-loved spring event with the European Union’s Delegation in the United States.
On Saturday, May 10, from 10 AM to 4 PM, the German Embassy will welcome the French Embassy for a day celebrating the European Union, as embassies of EU member states across Washington, D.C., showcase their culture, cuisine, music, and more. The EU Open House takes place annually on the first Saturday after Europe Day (May 9), which marks the signing of the Schuman Declaration in 1950 that established the European Coal and Steel Community, which would eventually become the European Union as we know it.
