After studying literature and creative writing in France, she pursued an MFA in fiction at Oregon State University, forging a literary path deeply rooted in both French and American cultures.
Her latest novel, written simultaneously in English and French, is a rare accomplishment. Published by Harper Collins in the U.S. and Éditions Stock in France, Pelican Girls / La Louisiane has already sold over 60,000 copies in France and is being translated into 25 languages worldwide.
Julia has been deeply involved in connecting with readers, partnering with Villa Albertine for a series of inspiring literary events. Her bilingual fluency and dynamic presence have made her a standout figure on the international literary stage.
