Announcing the 2025 Oui Design! Immersion Grantees

In partnership with the Mobilier National, the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation, and the Institut français, Oui Design! Immersion Grants — a program of Villa Albertine and the Albertine Foundation — aim to support emerging and established French artisans seeking to expand their professional profiles in the American craft and design market. The goal of this program is to help artisans become familiar with the New York landscape to evaluate existing opportunities for their own businesses.
The program provides a 10-day immersive experience in New York during the NYCxDESIGN Festival and the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF) in May 2025. The experience culminates in a presentation at Villa Albertine on May 15, where participants will showcase their creativity, expertise in the field, and work through live demonstrations alongside our Craft and Design residents. The program additionally features group visits and meetings as well as personalized discussions with architecture and interior design agencies, thanks to an unprecedented partnership with The Invisible Collection.
In late-February 2025, a jury representing both major institutions and professionals from the world of craft and design met to select the 2025 grantees. The jury featured:
- Isabelle Dubern, Co-founder of The Invisible Collection
- Manon Leriche, Representing our program partner, Manufactures Nationales – Sèvres & Mobilier National
- Odile Hainaut, ICFF Brand Director and Co-founder of Wanted Design
- Ronit Anderson, CEO of Ronit Anderson
- Katharine Suarez, Director of Content and Communications at the Todd Merrill Studio
