“The Goddesses of Food,” written and directed by French filmmaker Vérane Frédiani

In celebration of the Taste the World in Marseille US Book Tour, Villa Albertine invites you experience a special screening co-presented with Jarvis Conservatory, in partnership with Abrams and The Culinary Institute of America in California.

In the male-dominated food universe, discover the women who are changing the game on all levels. “Goddesses of Food” showcases the best female chefs, including Michelin starred chefs Dominique Crenn, Barbara Lynch, and Alice Waters, while introducing rising new stars and those creating incredible food in all corners of the world.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A session with the filmmaker and author Vérane Frédiani, as well as a book signing of “Taste the World in Marseille,” a cookbook from the South of France, recently released by Abrams.

About the Jarvis Conservatory
Utilizing a grant from the Jarvis family the Conservatory began operation in Napa, CA, in 1995, providing training and support for artists. The Conservatory is dedicated to serious art forms not often available in other places, and at the same time, art forms relating to the large Hispanic community of Napa. All Conservatory productions take place in what has been described as a jewel of a theater, and an acoustic marvel.
