OASIS Concert | Resident Isabelle Olivier and Rez Abbasi

The jazz harpist Isabelle Olivier continues her journey at the crossroads of cultures and music with her new projet: OASIS (Olivier Abbasi Sound In Sound), which is born from her meeting with the great American jazz guitarist of Pakistani origin Rez Abbasi.
This album, OASIS, was acclaimed both by the international press and the public, who came to applaud the projet from Paris to New York, as well as at the DC Jazz Festival in Washington and the Field Museum in Chicago, where the audience numbered in thousands. After 14 concerts of the first tour, they enthusiastically continue their music on both sides of the Atlantic.
“The musicians fuse groove and improvisation, and perform with a kind of measured steadiness that only could be delivered by their highly skilled hands… Warm, intimate and challenging all at once, OASIS is a remarkably natural record.” -Denise Sullivan, DownBeat
