It is with passion, necessity, and precision that Louis Monier, Founder of the Atelier Monier, crafts chairs with his team, for the greatest names in decoration. Located in a historical workshop in the heart of Paris, they practice the art of carpentry to craft chairs. Using the know-how of the Monier workshop, Louis Monier imagines and creates seats with the most audacious lines and curves, which are now the signature of the workshop. The workshop’s work varies between ultra-modern productions, creations inspired by the great masters of the XVIIIth century, and manufacturing for artists who are looking for exceptional know-how.
Louis Monier was named “One of the Best Craftsmen in France” in 2019. He has created a real identity and a universe around the line and the curve, which he practices daily. The workshop earned the prestigious Entreprise du Patrimoine Vivant label in 2021, in recognition of its work of 10 years.
