City/Cité: Oakland x Saint-Denis : Translating Cities and Culture – October 13, 2020  

This inaugural session marked the publication of the Oakland/Saint-Denis project and its key partners. Introductions were made by Juliette Donadieu, cultural attaché and director of Villa San Francisco; Laure Gayet, Founder of Légendes Urbaines; and Julie Fry, President and CEO of California Humanities. 

Initiated in late 2018, the international cooperation project between the Cultural Services of the French Embassy in the United States, Villa San Francisco, California Humanities, the French American Cultural Society, the Institut Français, and in collaboration with Légendes Urbaines, is known as the Oakland/Saint-Denis project.
