“glissantes” by French composer Elsa Biston

glissantes (in English, slippery or sliding), a performance by French composer Elsa Biston, is an evolving project with some notated music currently being worked on, a heavy electronic component coming into focus over the coming four weeks, and then a collation of all the elements once Elsa arrives in Austin in early September. 

The performance will be held on September 8-9, 2022 at Crashbox in Austin, TX.

glissantes, a new work by Elsa Biston has been made possible through Jazz & New Music, a program of Villa Albertine and FACE Foundation, in partnership with the French Embassy in the United States with support from the French Ministry of Culture, Institut français, SACEM (Société des auteurs, compositeurs et éditeurs de musique) and the CNM (Centre National de la Musique).
