Institut Français des Etats-Unis – Villa Albertine Washington is recruiting an assistant(e) de gestion at Campus France USA. This is a temporary, 3-month role and the position starts on October 15, 2025.
Potential candidates must be legally authorized to reside and work in the United States (US citizenship, green card, or A visa).

I. Overview
The administrative assistant is responsible for processing and managing the pre-consular applications of American students (or students residing in the United States) who wish to study in France. They also participate in information and student support activities, as well as in the promotion of French higher education programs, organized by Campus France USA.
II. Details
a. Management of Application Files
- Processing pre-consular visa applications for American students (or students residing in the United States)
- Advice and support, telephone consulations, email correspondence
- Monitoring application on the “Etudes en France” platform
b. Administrative Tasks
- File tracking and archiving, general administrative tasks
c. Participation in Informational and Promotional Activities
- Occasionally contribute to the writing of content
- Participate in promotional and informational activities targeting the American student audience (fairs, meetings, events, etc.)
III. Required Skills
Desired Experience/Skills
- Professional experience in client/user support.
- Experience with administrative tasks.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Required Languages
- English: reading, speaking, writing – bilingual or native speaker
- French: reading, speaking, writing – good level (B2 minimum)
Knowledge
- Knowledge of American and French higher education
- Required proficiency: Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, SharePoint)
Required Qualities
- Proactive approach and good interpersonal and relational skills
- Autonomy, sense of responsibility, initiative
- Ability to manage work independently
- Ability to work in a team

- Weekly hours : 40 hours, excluding lunch break
- Work is 100% onsite and in person
- Salary : $4,672 par mois, avec une indemnité de transport mensuelle de $120
