Etant donnés 2023 Call for applications open

The call for applications for the Etant donnés 2023 grant program is open until February 28, 2023.

Etant donnés aims to introduce French visual artists whose works have rarely, if ever, been shown in the United States to American audiences. The fund provides:

  • Financial support granted to American museums and nonprofit institutions to organize exhibition or production projects, featuring French or France-based artists;  
  • Curatorial fellowship to American curators, either independent or affiliated with institutions, who wish to conduct research in France (In partnership with Independent Curators International).

To be eligible, submitted projects should begin after June 1, 2023 and before August 31, 2024.
