Encompassing four core initiatives, including the French Heritage Language program, the French in Higher Education program, the Future Teachers program, and the French Dual Language Fund, French for All supports the expansion and enrichment of French language education and bilingualism in the United States from kindergarten through higher education.
A long-running program of Villa Albertine and Albertine Foundation, Albertine Cinémathèque is designed to expand access to French cinema and support film programming at American colleges and universities through grants for on-campus French film festivals for its members. Beginning in 2026–2027, Albertine Cinémathèque and French in Higher Education, under French for All, will share a unified call-for-applications timeline, strengthening the connection between French and Francophone cinematic programming and academic initiatives across U.S. campuses.

Albertine Cinematheque
Albertine Cinémathèque provides grants for on-campus French film festivals, along with extensive resources that help institutions enrich their programming, including:
- A curated list of films selected by its programming committee
- Opportunities to bring filmmakers into dialogue with students
Faculty at American colleges and universities can become members of Albertine Cinémathèque for free.
Selected applicants are invited to choose six films from the 2026–2027 Film Selection for inclusion in their festival. Screening fees for the six films are paid directly to the distributors by Albertine Foundation. Selected grantees and the new film selection will be announced in March 2026.

French in Higher Education
French in Higher Education, a program managed by the French Embassy in the United States and the Albertine Foundation, aims to further supporting the growth and diversification of French and Francophone studies in colleges and universities by funding innovative projects, including immersive internship programs in Francophone countries, and Francophone job fairs and career events. Grant amounts range from $2,000 to $20,000, depending on the anticipated impact and matching funds. All U.S.-based post-secondary institutions are eligible and encouraged to apply.
