Second Edition of French for All's Call for Proposals 2024
French for All is a major new initiative to support the teaching of French in the United States, from elementary school to university.
In this context, the Cultural Services of the French Embassy are launching the second edition of their call for projects aimed at university French departments. This year, innovative projects, including internship programs will be funded.
More detailed information will be provided to all potential project coordinators in a webinar hosted by Gilles Bousquet from the University of Wisconsin and Paola Buckley from Southern Methodist University. With the participation of Cultural Services representatives, the discussion will highlight the guidelines and goals of this new call for projects.
French departments and programs at American universities and colleges wishing to introduce innovative projects in French and Francophone studies, in order to improve quality and increase enrolment in their program, will be invited to submit their proposals by January 30, 2024. Selected projects will receive grants ranging from $2,000 to $20,000. Through an overview of the current state of French and Francophone studies at American universities, the presentation of previous projects, and an overview of best practices, this webinar will enable you to best prepare your proposal before submitting it.
