A look at this year's winning photos from French Teaching Interns.
We’re excited to announce the winners from the 2022-23 French Teaching Intern photo contest. The many entries we received took us on a cross-country trip of the US; from sea to shining sea, these photos show FTI interns making the most of their time in the States.
This year’s French Teaching Interns hailed from all parts of France. As teachers-in-training, they were selected to work in US schools for one academic year, where they spent over 30 hours each week gaining hands-on teaching experience. In exchange, their students benefitted from the cultural and linguistic knowledge interns brought to the classroom.
But it’s not all work and no play – a year abroad also affords plenty of travel opportunities, and a trip to the US wouldn’t be complete without seeing some of the country’s most celebrated parks and monuments. Without further ado, we present this year’s winning photos, showing what life is like for French Teaching Interns outside the classroom.
