Gaming and Inclusivity

Monday, March 18, 2024 | 5:30pm – 8:30pm | Swissnex

Together with Swissnex SF, Villa Albertine will host a panel discussion on gaming and inclusivity. This event aims to offer a fresh perspective on inclusivity in gaming, focusing on opportunities for empowerment within the gaming world and how storytelling creates a space for societal reflection. Gamers have demonstrated a strong sense of belonging and societal engagement, evident in actions such as those supporting the Black Lives Matter movement and LGBTQIA groups.

The discussion will be led by panelists Celine Tricart (France), Noe Mael Arnold (Switzerland), and Yugian Sun (China). While Tricart brings her expertise in new technologies such as VR and AR, Arnold and Sun offer unique perspectives on immersive storytelling in the digital age, through experimental games, chatbots, and conversational AI.
