After an exhibition at the Pavillon de l’Arsenal in Paris and at SPUR and Oakstop in the San Francisco Bay Area, Oakland/Saint-Denis was invited to the Maison des Sciences de l’Homme Paris Nord.
Through the artists’ perspectives and an analysis of hip-hop, this new installment put into perspective the differences and similarities between Oakland, California, and Saint-Denis. Characterized by a strong cultural, social, and urban history, the two cities present two different approaches on diversity and minority issues.
