In this lyrical Lumiere award-winner, 16-year-old aspiring astronaut Yuri joins forces with his friends in hopes of saving the close-knit community where he grew up. Gagarine was made in collaboration with the real-life residents of the the Cité Gagarine housing project, located in the southeastern Parisian suburb of Ivry-sur-Seine, which was demolished in 2020.
