Immersive Horizons: VR Films from France to Fulton

2025 French Immersion Grant laureate Fulton County Public Art Futures Lab is excited to bring four French VR short films to libraries across Fulton County. This collaborative project will allow audiences throughout the county to experience groundbreaking films that offer the chance to explore themes of connection, resilience, and creativity.

Over the course of eight weeks in 2025, 12 library branches will make available VR headsets preloaded with four critically acclaimed films from French production company Diversion Cinema for guests to screen. These films from Diversion Cinema, will offer audiences ages 10+ a chance to engage with global perspectives, innovative storytelling, and immersive technology.

VR Immersive Horizons is a collaborative project designed to bring cutting-edge virtual reality films and experiences from French Filmmakers to Fulton County residents through a partnership between the Public Art Futures Lab, Fulton County Library System, and Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation.
