For over 30 years,\u00a0\u00c9tant\u00a0Donn\u00e9s\u00a0has aimed to strengthen ties between France and the United States in the field of visual art by encouraging active collaboration and long-lasting partnerships between French artists, curators, and collectives, and American curators and cultural institutions.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The program fosters the discovery of emerging talent while&nbsp;maintaining&nbsp;engagement with established artists, prioritizing solo exhibitions, productions, and new commissions.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u00c9tant&nbsp;Donn\u00e9s&nbsp;disburses funds for the following projects&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Creative Grants<\/strong>&nbsp;for projects in the United States and France: Grants are issued to provide financial support to American and French nonprofit institutions (museums, art centers, and others)&nbsp;seeking&nbsp;to organize exhibitions featuring living French or France-based artists and American artists, respectively. Priority is given to exhibitions and new commissions.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Curatorial Fellowships&nbsp;<\/strong>for American curators wishing to conduct research in France. These fellowships offer funding to American curators who&nbsp;desire&nbsp;to conduct research on the French visual arts scene. Candidates are encouraged to connect with art professionals and other researchers as well as with institutions, universities, art schools, or private and public archives in preparation for future exhibitions or collaborations.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jury<\/strong>:&nbsp;\u0116tant&nbsp;Donn\u00e9s&nbsp;grantees will be selected by an independent committee&nbsp;comprised&nbsp;of French and American curators and directors of art institutions.\u202f&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility<\/strong>:&nbsp;\u00c9tant&nbsp;Donn\u00e9s&nbsp;eligibility requirements can be found&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/villa-albertine.org\/va\/professionals\/call-for-applications-the-2026-etant-donnes-program\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">on our webpage<\/a>.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Albertine Music<\/strong>:&nbsp;Designed to encourage, promote, and support artistic musical performances, Albertine Music is a comprehensive grant program&nbsp;for projects between French and American artists and ensembles in the fields of jazz and classical music \u2013 from Baroque to contemporary.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Albertine Music&nbsp;provides financial support for&nbsp;the following types of endeavors&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Creative Grants<\/strong>&nbsp;for projects jointly conceived by French and American professional musicians and institutions, including commissions by American ensembles, French composers or composers based in France, as well as US premieres of French works.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Touring Grants<\/strong>&nbsp;where&nbsp;touring projects of French or France-based musicians and ensembles are supported, with a minimum&nbsp;of three performances in the US.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Educational grants<\/strong>&nbsp;which&nbsp;support educational and artistic exchange programs, including master classes, workshops, and short-term residencies in US academic institutions and schools.&nbsp;<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Jury<\/strong>: Albertine Music grantees will be decided by a jury of French and American professionals.
