The monthly Museum Series, organized in partnership with the Center for Curatorial Leadership, will run from March through December 2023, bringing together many of the most prominent women museum leaders in France and the United States for substantive, in-depth conversations about the challenges and opportunities facing museums today.<\/p>\n<p>The first event takes place on March 8, in honor of International Women\u2019s Day. In total, 12 events throughout the year, each featuring one American and one French museum director, will explore a broad spectrum of collections, audiences, and geographies.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Museum Series lineup<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>March 8, 5:30pm ET: <strong>Dr. Carla Hayden<\/strong>, Librarian of Congress, in conversation with <strong>Laurence Engel<\/strong>, President of the Biblioth\u00e8que nationale de France. Moderated by <strong>Colin Bailey<\/strong>, director of the Morgan Library &amp; Museum.<\/p>\n<p>March 22, 6pm ET: <strong>Sasha Suda,<\/strong> Director and CEO of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, in conversation with <strong>Am\u00e9lie Simier<\/strong>, Director of the Mus\u00e9e Rodin.<\/p>\n<p>April 20, 6pm ET: <strong>Courtney J. Martin<\/strong>, Director of the Yale Center for British Art, in conversation with <strong>Charlotte Vignon<\/strong>, Director of Heritage and Collections of the Mus\u00e9e national de la C\u00e9ramique \u2013 S\u00e8vres.<\/p>\n<p>May 3, 6pm ET: <strong>Amada Cruz<\/strong>, Director and CEO of the Seattle Art Museum, in conversation with<strong> Yannick Lintz<\/strong>, President of the Mus\u00e9e national des Arts asiatiques &#8211; Guimet.<\/p>\n<p>May 18, 6pm ET: <strong>Katherine E. Fleming<\/strong>, President and CEO of the J. Paul Getty Trust, in conversation with <strong>Laurence des Cars<\/strong>, President-Director of the Mus\u00e9e du Louvre.<\/p>\n<p>June 7, 6pm ET:<strong> Julia Marciari-Alexander<\/strong>, Director of the Walters Art Museum\u00a0<br \/>\nof Baltimore, in conversation with <strong>S\u00e9verine Lepape<\/strong>, Director of the Mus\u00e9e de\u00a0<br \/>\nCluny &#8211; Mus\u00e9e national du Moyen \u00c2ge.<\/p>\n<p>The fall lineup will be announced in June.<\/p>\n<p>Each conversation will take place live in English at Villa Albertine\u2019s Fifth Avenue\u00a0<br \/>\nheadquarters.
