The project brings together French artistic heritage, literature, and the spirit of discovery that makes the Frost Science Museum such a meaningful setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What inspired me personally is the universal message of The Little Prince. Although it is often considered a children&#8217;s book, its lessons about friendship, love, kindness, and seeing beyond appearances are just as meaningful to adults. Its message crosses languages, generations, and cultures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I was especially drawn to the idea of creating something permanent for Miami\u2014a work of art that children and families could encounter, enjoy, and make part of their own experience. Miami is an international city, and I believe this sculpture can serve as a beautiful symbol of the friendship between France and the United States, while introducing new generations to one of France&#8217;s most treasured literary works.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For our Foundation, this project represents exactly what we hope to accomplish: making French culture accessible, engaging, and lasting, and creating cultural experiences that bring people together.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2. <strong>Antoine de Saint- Exup\u00e9ry&#8217;s&nbsp;The Little Prince is&nbsp;a timeless work that resonates across generations and cultures. What do you hope this project will bring to Miami, and what are the next steps in making it a reality?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I hope this project will bring Miami a meaningful celebration of French culture, literature, and the universal message of Antoine de Saint-Exup\u00e9ry\u2019s The Little Prince. Its timeless themes of friendship, love, imagination, and our responsibility toward one another resonate with people of all ages and backgrounds. In a diverse, international city like Miami, I believe this project offers a wonderful opportunity to bring together children, families, artists, educators, and the French and American communities around a story that reminds us of our shared humanity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As President of the France Florida Foundation for the Arts, I would like to help create an event that goes beyond a literary celebration\u2014one that inspires creativity, encourages cultural exchange, and introduces a new generation to the enduring wisdom of this extraordinary work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our next steps are to continue discussions with the Consulate of France in Miami, the French Embassy, and potential cultural and community partners, including the Phillip and Patricia Frost Museum of Science. Together, we hope to develop a collaborative program that might include literary and artistic presentations, educational activities for children, and other creative ways to bring the spirit of The Little Prince to life in Miami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ultimately, our goal is to make this celebration an inspiring and memorable cultural event that strengthens the ties between France and Florida while sharing a universal message: that what matters most is often invisible to the eye, but deeply felt in the heart. As we move forward with bringing the beloved Little Prince statue to Miami, we are reaching an important stage in making this cultural project a reality. The financial generosity of our community would help us bring a symbol of friendship and imagination to our community .\u00a0Every contribution, regardless of size, would be sincerely appreciated and would bring us one step closer to welcoming the <a href=\"https:\/\/lepetitprince.souvenirfrancaisusa.org\/#top\">Little Prince to Miami<\/a>. Over the years, we have worked toward a common goal: bringing people together through art, literature, education, and cultural programming.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">What makes this relationship so important is the way our organizations complement one another. The France Florida Foundation for the Arts serves as a bridge between French cultural institutions and the community in South Florida, while Villa Albertine brings a dynamic perspective on contemporary French creativity and intellectual exchange. By working together, we help introduce audiences to French artists, ideas, and traditions while encouraging dialogue between French and American communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ultimately, cultural diplomacy is most effective when it creates lasting personal connections.
