About Anne-Lise Boutin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anne-Lise Boutin<\/strong> is a French illustrator and visual artist. Trained at the \u00c9cole Duperr\u00e9 and the Arts D\u00e9co in Paris, she teaches at the Higher Institute of Applied Arts (LISAA) in Paris and divides her work between publishing and press (Lib\u00e9ration<\/em>, Le Monde,<\/em> Les \u00c9chos<\/em>, The Guardian<\/em>, The New York Times<\/em>, The Boston Globe<\/em>).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She has illustrated more than fifty children\u2019s books, including Brothers Zzli<\/em> (trans. by Vineet Lal, Eerdmans Books for Young Readers), written by Alex Cousseau and winner of the 2024 Prix Albertine Jeunesse. Her work, characterized by cutouts, simple colors, and flat shapes, is inspired by popular art, the marvelous, and the strange, leaving ample room for the imagination.\u202f\u202f <\/p>\n\n\n
