An interactive walking experience blending extended reality (XR), dance, and artificial intelligence (AI),
LILITH.AEON<\/em> draws from personal experiences of grief and is inspired by the true story of the youngest person ever cryogenically preserved. This immersive and interactive installation questions the future of humanity in the age of transhumanism and artificial intelligence.
Unfolding across the monumental walls of an LED cube, the installation invites viewers to follow the life cycles of Lilith, a virtual being, a digital and poetic reincarnation, a soul suspended between death and a possible future awakening.
As the audience moves around the work, their gestures trigger choreographic responses from the AI. This creates a dynamic, ever-evolving performance, a dance between human and machine.
Through this emotionally charged experience and a real-time generative narrative, LILITH.AEON<\/em> explores our evolving relationship with technology, especially in the face of transcending biological mortality. When our flesh-and-spirit selves can be reduced, enhanced, or even replaced by digital data, what becomes of our humanity, and our finitude?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Directors<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

A\u03a6E Company, founded in 2016 and led by artistic co-directors Esteban Lecoq<\/strong> (FR) and Aoi Nakamura <\/strong>(JP), creates installations and performances that blend contemporary dance with immersive realities.
Their work crafts emotionally resonant experiences, often drawing on science fiction to explore our relationship with new technologies.
Through subversion, reappropriation, and forward-looking vision, their interactive pieces place the audience at the center of the creative and narrative process, offering a new space for exploration between body, environment, and technology.
A\u03a6E Company presents its productions on some of the world\u2019s most prestigious stages, including Sadler\u2019s Wells, Th\u00e9\u00e2tre de Chaillot, the National Dance Theatre of Paris, and the Sydney Festival.

Format<\/strong>: Immersive XR dance experience. This is a walk-through experience. No seating is required.
Number of participants per session<\/strong>: unlimited, depends on the size of the venue
Equipment<\/strong>: A modular LED volume made up of 2.5m x 2.5m panels is placed at the center of the space. On each surface of the totem, Lilith can be seen evolving inside. Motion capture devices track the audience\u2019s movements. A version of the performance featuring live music by Abul Mogard is available upon request.
Set-up Time<\/strong>: 60 minutes, up to 8 shows a day
