This year, French animation will be represented by two feature films and four shorts. The French feature films Little Nicholas, Happy As Can Be (produced by On Classics) by Amandine Fredon and Benjamin Massoubre and Charlotte (co-produced by Les Productions Balthazar) by Eric Warin and Tahir Rana, are nominated as Best Indie Feature. The short film Ice Merchant, co-produced by the French company Wild Stream is nominated as Best Short Subject. French animation schools are particularly prominent this year and represent more than half of the nominees for Best Student Film: students from the Gobelins, l’\u00e9cole de l’image school gather two nominations (for the shorts Au revoir J\u00e9r\u00f4me! and The Soloists) and Supinfocom Rubika school is represented with the short film Synchronie Passag\u00e8re. The awards will be presented on February 25, in Los Angeles.\u00a0
