This opportunity offers hands-on experience in educational cooperation, bilingual education initiatives, university outreach, and project coordination within the French Embassy&#8217;s cultural and educational network in the United States.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">I. <strong>Internship Details<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Dates:<\/strong>\u00a0September 8 &#8211; December 18, 2026<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Villa Albertine, 972 Fifth Avenue, New York, NY<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\u00a0Approximately 20 hours per week<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Status:<\/strong>\u00a0Unpaid internship integrated into a university curriculum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">II. <strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The intern will contribute to a range of projects supporting French and bilingual education, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monitoring bilingual programs in public schools<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting with the organization of the European Day of Languages and the Bilingual Education Fair<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Drafting speeches, briefing notes, reports, summaries, and professional correspondence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting research and mapping French departments at universities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supporting the development of a university working group dedicated to promoting French language education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Liaising with schools, universities, and institutional partners<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">III. <strong>Profile Sought<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants should be Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s students pursuing studies in fields such as:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Education<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Cooperation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>French as a Foreign Language<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International Relations<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Political Science<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cultural Project Management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Marketing or Communications<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Related disciplines<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Strong writing, organizational, and interpersonal skills are essential. Candidates should have at least a&nbsp;<strong>B2 level in French<\/strong>. Knowledge of additional languages, including Spanish, Portuguese, Creole, Arabic, or others, is considered an asset.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">IV. <strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applicants must be enrolled at a U.S. university that is able to establish an internship agreement with Villa Albertine.
