Roles and Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Under the supervision of the AF USA\u00a0Coordinator, the intern will<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Manage\u00a0and create reference documents on\u00a0the evolution of the AF USA\u00a0network with the help of annual data collected on 104 Alliances. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out administrative work prior to TV5 MONDE&#8217;s 2027 shooting in the\u00a0USA, contributing to the\u00a0selection\u00a0of four cities and AFs to be targeted for the documentary; preparing the shooting crew&#8217;s itinerary and budget; and anticipating\u00a0the drones\u00a0overflight approval in the targeted locations. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparing and supporting the strategic 2027 topic of the future of AF in the\u00a0USA, including creating surveys aimed at teachers of AF, trustees and\u00a0presidents of AF, and executive directors; preparing\u00a0workshops on the topic to collect\u00a0feedback;  organizing a student hackathon on the topic; and conducting\u00a0outreach to future and potential\u00a0members of AF in different communities\u00a0(e.g. families, schools, and companies with a French\u00a0presence).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">III. <strong>Eligibility Requirements and Necessary Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Desired\u00a0Professional\u00a0Experience\/Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Experience with administrative work&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with Alliance Fran\u00e7aise or being a French learner is a\u00a0plus<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Knowledge<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>English: reading, speaking, writing&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;native speaker&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>French: reading, speaking, writing&nbsp;\u2013&nbsp;B1 minimum<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Required Qualities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proactive approach and good interpersonal&nbsp;and relational skills&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maturity, autonomy,&nbsp;initiative&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to manage work independently&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work\u00a0with a network\u00a0(104\u00a0AFs in the\u00a0USA)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligibility<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Candidates must be enrolled&nbsp;full time&nbsp;in an American university&nbsp;or college&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must be 18 years of age or older&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Candidates must&nbsp;possess&nbsp;and provide proof of civil liability insurance for the duration of the internship<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>IV.<\/strong> <strong>Job Details<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workplace\u202f:&nbsp;Institut Fran\u00e7ais des Etats-Unis \u2013 Villa Albertine&nbsp;4101 Reservoir Rd NW, WASHINGTON DC 20007&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This is a 3-month in-person internship of 10 hours a week split across 2 or 3 days depending on the student\u2019s schedule&nbsp;starting&nbsp;in&nbsp;October&nbsp;2026.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Students should be in their third year of undergraduate course work or higher, preferably studying international relations, French, business administration, or a related field.&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications should be sent to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:christel.outreman@villa-albertine.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">christel.outreman@villa-albertine.org<\/a>\u00a0by\u00a0<strong>July 24, 2026<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>V.
